YEJCU

IEAust accredits your course so why not become a member?
Who are we:
YEJCU was formed at the beginning of 2001. The idea behind the group was developed by YEA (Young Engineers Australia) and placed into action by setting up a system of campus coordinators at university campuses. The main purpose for the group is to promote student awareness of Engineers Australia and encourage professional development. YEA is part of the Institution of Engineers Australia (Engineers Australia) who represent and form a voice for young engineers within Engineers Australia.
Memberships/benefits:
BONUS!! When you become a student member of Engineers Australia you are automatically considered to be a young engineer and hence a member of YEJCU. Student membership is absolutely free thanks to our active YEA group and you can pick up an application form from Engineers Australia Regional Coordinator Bronwyn Wood bwood@engineersaustralia.org.au or phone 4781 6327). Being a student or graduate member of the Engineers Australia will allow you to have full access to their benefits. Some of these benefits include access to vocational handbooks, engineering information, newsletters and employment opportunities. Also you will get chances to meet and talk to older professional engineers who work in the same discipline as you. For detailed information refer to Engineers Australia and YEA links below.
