2007 Science and Engineering Challenge 6th & 7th June
The Challenge, as it is called, is an outreach programme for grade 9 & 10 students to get excited about science, maths, physics, chemistry and engineering. Your school is invited to nominate one team only, of 24 to 32 grade 9/10 students to compete in 8 science and engineering challenges on one of these two days. As only eight teams can compete each day you are encouraged to register your expression of interest including your preferred day, by email as soon as possible. 2007 Engineering Link 23rd - 26th July
Is a four-day immersion course for Year 11 & 12 students. The aim is to reverse the decline of physics and maths in secondary schools by providing group activities to show where maths and scientific principals are applied to real life engineering situations.

When: Monday 23rd July - Thursday 26th July 2007
Where: Combined Catholic Colleges, James Cook University, Townsville Qld.
Cost: $154.00 (including GST) - all inclusive.
